Bubbie is in the hospital again, RSV is back. Breakfastfest today. The talks of life, over dough.

Yesterday was another day of cleaning, the sun was out and shining.  Bubbie had to be in the house has been  sick, the kids just seem to be gifting us all in a never ending cycle of colds and flu's.  Mokie and I wormed Snowpine and gave her some red cell, hoping to break her cycle of worms.  Most of the does did well after the first cycle of wormer right after they birthed their babies.  We had a nice morning and then we went out to Belle's so the kids could play with their friends, continue their on going tea party and Poppie could fix a small leak on the dishwasher.  The girls had started their sponge and kneaded up their dough in preparation for their cinnamon rolls and their orange rolls for Breakfastfest at Church.  We were off to go see our friend.

We had a nice visit the kids all played, had tea, eat eggs with mozzarella cheese, and blueberry peach pan scones as dessert.  It was a nice lunch.  Poppie fixed the dishwasher and was antsy listening to us ladies talk so I told him to leave and come back for us at 3.  Belle and I had a nice conversation about soaps, creams, lotions, heritage pigs we both want to raise and just had to time be.   The kids fought a little about who should play and poor Missy had to have two time outs as she wanted the girls to herself but needed to share with her brother who wanted to play as well.  Herbalist and her beautiful daughter came by shortly before we were to leave.  She is morbidly afraid of dogs so had a bit of a fuss to get in the house.  She is truly a beautiful woman, much I am sure like Herbalist would have been as a young woman, not the Herbalist is beautiful now, but her daughter is in the prime of her life.  She was very nice as well.  Poppie came back, carrying Sadie Sue, I told him to be careful that Herbalist daughter was scared of dogs.  He kept her in his arms and the daughter actually petted her a little on the nose.  A truly nice day away.  Poppie said Mokie had called looking for me.

When we got home Mokie was gone,  she called later to say that she had taken Karissa to the hospital, she had been to the Doctor on Friday as well.  The baby was sent to Zootown to the hospital to the icu for her RSV.  We all pray for the baby, she will be 4 months on the 11th.  I hope they can do something to help her.  Last time she didn't respond to the steroids.  She has a lot of trouble with formulas as well, they are considering putting her on goats milk.  I hope they figure out how to help her.  She is a happy little tyke most of them time, rolling over, smiling and giggles.  Doing great with her milestones.  Pray that God keeps her and helps her return home soon.

The girls finished up their cinnamon rolls and orange rolls last night.  Yogie has to ice her orange rolls this morning.  She grated orange peel, mixed it with orange juice, and butter as the center.  Booboo put dark Karo syrup in the bottom of her pan with a little brown sugar, then a layer of brown sugar, a good sprinkle of cinnamon, and raisins all atop  her dough spread with butter.  They rolled them up, I cut them, and placed them as they were pretty gooey.  They ended up with three good loaves of bread each and Yogie got an extra small loaf from hers.

We talked as we worked, some times our best time to talk of things going on in their lives.  Sometimes we talk of school issues or what they did with their cousins.  Sometimes we talk of the Lord and sometime we talk of just things.  We are making good patterns for the future and the years of teen life when they may not be comfortable talking to mom.  Patterning is always good for returning to the basics.  When scared, or in need, a person always goes to their basic patterning for help.  The Ladies and I always have good conversations.  We talked about the importance of truth last night.  If you tell the truth you always have God on your side and you never have to worry about the consequences.  They were glad that truth was good.  I think of the power God and truth as they go through the coming years of change, that will come all to soon, will stand them well.  I am thinking the new movie about Bullying that is to come out might be a good thing for us to see as a family.  We could talk about it and they would be prepared or maybe more able to navigate their lives and the bullies that will come.  I think that we might be able to wait until it comes out on dvd to see it, they have a little more time before they go on to middle school and high school but the patterns and line of communications are open and so far expanding..... tomorrow.
