Busy day today, Poppie got the hutch made, friends dropped by so we had a coffee break.

Mokie has to go plead not guilty first thing this morning so we will have the kids for awhile.  She will get a day in court  to bring her witnesses and plead her case at a later date. Once she is home we are to go to Zootown for groceries, and the "list".  Yogie has diligently made me a list of things we need, first thing on the list is flip flops or crocs.  She did add her dads sugar, gum and coffee.  She doesn't have a long list so I have to improvise the rest.  It is cute what she considered important enough to make the list. I am not sure when we will leave, Poppie will have to watch kids but he might have plans this morning so we may not be leaving until the afternoon.

Yesterday we got the front room beginning to be put back together.  Poppie cut the old tv stand into a nice hutch.  He was apprehensive about cutting it but in the end he used one of his new toys and was totally stoked at the out come.  It turned out beautifully.  I put pictures on and some knickknacks already.  We were making fairly good progress after the hutch was done, and their were kids running amuck when a car came into our drive.  I had forgotten that Violinist and Momma Violinist were to stop by.  We stopped to spend time with them.  Violinist had sprained her ankle and is on crutches so she was fairly immobile.  We showed them, most Momma Violinist, the baby piglets, the other pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys and rabbit.  We came into the house after that so Violinist could get off of her foot.  The kids immediately got a turkey chick and a newly hatched chick and put them into their laps.  I am not sure most people would take to having chicks dumped into their laps but they were troopers and enjoyed petting baby chicks.  So beware if ever in my home you will probably end up with the current baby of the family in your lap, human and or otherwise.  We had coffee and some cake and before long they had to go so Violinist could put her foot up. It was a nice visit and they had to confirm that they had heard Poppie was going to make turkey for potluck.  Yes, he is, when I worked he learned to cook quite a few things and one of the kids favorite is turkey so he is going to make it for mothers day potluck, that way the ladies don't have to.  The others are going to brings sides.  I may help him make the stuffing but the rest he is a master at. One roasted and one smoked, hmmm?

They left and it was dinner before long so no, the front room is not back together but I should be able to make inroads into it this morning.  We are going to be moving the computer and desk out there as the girls are getting big enough that they will soon be wanting their own facebook and such so it will be easier to be prepare and it won't be so obvious that it is there for monitoring and security.  I will get a sewing room where the office was so a win win.

Yogie has a field trip in zootown today, the girls will be going to the grandparent tomorrow.  I do like my first Fridays so much that I am sad to share them but they are excited to go.  It will be nice for them to get away.  Coffee to drink and a day to get ready for I am sure it will be a roller coaster but that seems to be the norm here and not the unusual...... tomorrow.
