The Ladies off today, yay, they will go to the grands later. Still not a date night person.

We had a long day in the Zoo. Bubbie got tired of being in her car seat and was not shy about telling us so.  We got all the groceries we will need for awhile, hit several stores and by the time we got home were, or at least I was, totally exhausted.  When I got home Poppie was very worried, Mishka was sick, he is always so worried about dogs when they are sick having lost several to parvo over the years.  I did manage to get her to eat fried hamburger and eggs and to drink water so I think she is on the  mend, which relieved Poppie,  I will make sure she stays progressing this morning.  She is still afraid of the floor but did manage, even being sick, to walk across it and asked to go pottie, which made me think she isn't as sick as Poppie is worried she was.

The Ladies have their last first Friday off this week, and are going to go to the grands later but we get to spend the morning and afternoon together.  They are excited to use the new dust mop and hardwood mop to clean the flooring,  We are hopefully going to get the rest of the room together and the kitchen so girl time with Ladies in training. All think Poppie and I should enjoy them being gone and have a date night.  We are just not date night people, when they are adults we will have more date nights than we can shake a stick at and boredom we will not be able to manage.  Well maybe a grandkid or two will alleviate our agony then, hmmmm. We love each others company, and revel in it, but see no reason to stop being together and living our lifes to "go out and be together" makes no sense to either of us. Too old fashioned to aspire to this new fangled idea of being together on a date night when we just enjoy being together.....

I am sure the kids will stop by this morning, as Boy is diligently doing his chicken egg chores in the mornings, Yogie is at school usually so it isn't usually a problem but could be a conflict this morning,  We will have to work out the logistics of it before school is out for sure.  I am thinking Yogie might be more apt to share since there should be several goats to milk and she loves to milk goat more than collect eggs.  The Ladies both have a bit of a cough which I hope doesn't get out of hand.  They may got to the first farmers market in Zootown with their Grandpa, if it doesn't rain and he goes.  They do so love to go spend time with their grandpa, but as Grandma almost always has Only and she expects them to cater to Only while they are there. They no longer enjoy spending time with Grandma and aren't all that happy to see Only.  The Grands are trying to force a sister relationship on the girls with Only that is not real. Yes, she is their half sister biologically but in no other way except that the Grandparents want it to be.  I is sad but true.  They have three other half sisters that they have the same connection too and the same relationship, not sisters at this age, maybe in the future but not now.  They have two sister they do have a sister relationship with, one more than the other due to living near each other.  I can't change the past, or the future, I can just try to make their now stable and understandable for them at their ages.... tomorrow.
