The Mrs Clucks found a new home, the last day of school, the Gates and fence did there job.

A friend of mine needed a couple of hens to lay eggs to help her son work on his new medical diet.  She dropped by with her daughter and one of her little grand sons, he is so cute, to pick up to girls.  They got to see the goaties it was a nice visit.  I hope the Mrs Clucks do their job and lay lots of eggs for them.

Yesterday was the christening of the new gates and the garden fence.  That makes all but the old pond area all fenced in, and the garden has it's own fence so will hopefully be safe from the goats.  The old pond will be fenced separately so the kids can't be in there without supervision and maybe gooses or ducks can use it to play in.  The goats went wild with delight to be able to run here and there.  They ran along the garden fence, got into the yard and anywhere they could to explore.  Checked out the littles playing in the sandbox.  Funny to see a child making a mud pie with a goat smelling to determine if it is something she might like to eat.  They never managed to get out of the fence by milking time they were back in their pen and too tired to be bothered with trying to steal grain from the doe that was being called to come milk.  They were all exhausted and napping.  Mishka can't get out of the gate, unless a little doesn't close it right.   I have a rule that none of the little children are allowed to open the gate without an adult, there is no real reason they would need out of the fence anyway.  Now if we could keep  the weirdo from calling her and trying to get her to go to their property so they can video tape her on their property.  Stupid is as stupid does.

Today is the last day of school, yay.  I love when the kids are home all the time, even when they bicker and fight.  I having been there before and know how short their time with us as children is.  I do so wish I could stop time and just enjoy the moments longer, but alas none of us stop growing aging and advancing to eternity.  We are, hopefully going to go get grain this afternoon and stopping at  Grandpas on the way home to get some plants for the garden and green house. I can't wait for the summer to start, no plans just time to share and cherish.... tomorrow.
