There's a hole in my kitchen!! There will be table room..... No no Poppie.

BBFC first thing, we had a few baskets less this week but still there were 64 counting organic.  We had a shallow field of volunteers as well.  One older gentleman helped us wonderfully, I think he enjoyed the camaraderie and just being in on the excitement.  Poppie came down to get boxes at the time we were to distribute and was drafted into helping, he enjoyed it too much.  He carried boxes that he should not have, orange cases.  He said later that when he did the first one three ladies got on him, on the other two he had an accomplice helping to hide his naughtiness.  Shame, shame on Poppie.  Nice distribution day, a few little hiccups but isn't that the way with anything?

Poppie cut the rest of my archway out yesterday afternoon.  There were a few unexpected boards in the wall but in the end we got it all worked out so that I will be able to compound, tape and paint it soon.  I am thinking I may want to do a little color tricks with it when I paint.  It really is funny how when you open up some thing sometimes you have so much more room where there isn't one more inch of space. We will have room to put a table back in the kitchen, even with the island.  I can actually see from my kitchen through the interior window of the pantry and through the studio, which was add after the house so is why we have interior window to begin with, to the kids play set and back yard.  Win win, they will never know where I get those eyes in the back of my head about what the littles are doing out there....lol.  The pantry is going to be big enough for me to have a sewing table, and some storage of my wools in there in a dedicated sewing cupboard.  I think I will still keep the small machine by the computer in the open office, the girls can learn to use it in a more open place than the one in the pantry that away.  I am so excited to get the stuff out of the area so I can tile and get my cupboards in, well maybe he will put the cupboards in and then the tiling I am not sure...hmmmmm. We are to the point, with the little bit bigger area than we originally thought, that we need to decide if we want like a two hutch look or a hutch and a cupboard look, we will see how it goes.

The girls really want to go on a ride and maybe some mushroom hunting,  and there are Morel's out so we could look for them too.  I am thinking it would be nice to go on a Sunday drive either way.  We will probably go a little later in the day after a little pantry work.  The Ladies came home from their sleep overs a little grumpy.  Yogie, who drags at getting up at 6, was up a 5:30 so was out of sorts when she got home.  Booboo was a little mouthy with her grumpy sister so reacclimating   with one another had some bumps.  Poppie and I both had enough of their squabbles and they both got to do extra chores since they had time to bicker and fight.  Poppie did give them their allowances once they calmed down and became their selves again.  Coffee and Church to come.  The Lord bless your Sunday with the Light of the world.  Today is the first day of the rest of your life, and eternity if you make the choice for the Lord's gift..... tomorrow.

  5. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is valuable and all.
But think of if you added some great photos or videos to give your posts more, "pop"!

Your content is excellent but with images and video clips,
this website could undeniably be one of the greatest in its niche.
    Fantastic blog!
