Off to the Farmers Market, I will be going with them today, Lots of fun.

Grandpa is going to the Farmer's Market in Zootown, so I will be on Mommie patrol and take my ladies to the Local Farmers Market. They were busy making lots of goodies yesterday.  Sister stopped by during the process and we sent her a foccacia as she was interested in trying one.  The ladies took turns doing kneading duty and as a tag team they are both excellent at the process, and are at a point in bread making when they could do it with out good ole mom. We made oatmeal pies in place of  rhubarb as the plant is getting low.  Oatmeal pies are similar to pecan so we will see. We also did make cinnamon rolls and orange rolls in place of some of the rustic loaves.

They will have fun, Belle's kid have consistently been coming to sell at the Market this year so we have a nice bunch of young entrepreneurs there, a good thing.  They all have fun and learn a valuable life lesson. I will take some soap, not a lot, but some.  The market has room for Farmers, Bakers, Herbalists, Soapmakers, Fiber Artists and more.  Come by if you are in the area, all are welcome and you get to meet the provider at the sources.  Local food and products are always worth the effort and time, you can celebrate helping the producer in you community and being green.... tomorrow.
